April Ride and Anniversary

Parky and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary yesterday. It feels nice. Nobody ever said it wouldn't happen, at least not within earshot. Gets me to thinking, every birthday everyone says you don't look a day older than you did 5 or 10 years back. But we do. And we feel older too. Every anniversary I feel (not younger) but rejuvenated. Why do you suppose the passing of a year with one title makes us feel like crap, but given another title it makes us feel grouse? I have my own ideas on the matter, what are yours ...
